White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

ingredients

butter, softened
shortening
brown sugar
white sugar
eggs
vanilla extract
almond extract
flour
baking soda
salt
macadamia nuts or almonds
white chocolate chips

 

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Cream butter, shortening, and sugars until smooth
  3. Add eggs and extracts. Beat well
  4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir into the creamed mixture
  5. Add macadamia nuts and chocolate chips. Mix well
  6. Drop by the heaping teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets
  7. Bake for 8-9 minutes, or until edges are barely golden brown. Cool
