ingredients

butter
shortening
sugar
eggs
vanilla
flour
cocoa (or flour)
salt
chocolate chips

 

instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
  2. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
  3. Add vanilla and eggs. Continue beating for 5 minutes
  4. Fold in dry ingredients
  5. Bake for 8-9 minutes
  6. Cool slightly on baking sheet before removing
