ingredients

Bottom Layer
butter, softened
sugar
cocoa
large egg, beaten
vanilla
graham crumbs
coconut
walnuts or pecans

Filling
butter, softened
milk
vanilla custard powder
vanilla
icing sugar

Topping
baking chocolate, chopped
butter

 

instructions

Bottom Layer

  1. Butter a 9×9 inch pan
  2. Melt butter over low heat
  3. Stir in sugar, cocoa. Whisk in beaten egg
  4. Cook 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly, until thick
  5. Remove from heat
  6. Add vanilla, graham crumbs, coconut, and nuts
  7. Press evenly into pan
  8. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour, or until firm

Filling

  1. Cream filling ingredients together
  2. If mixture is too thick to spread, add a bit more milk
  3. Spread over the bottom layer
  4. Cover and refrigerate 30 minutes, or until firm

Topping

  1. Melt the chocolate and butter together, stirring constantly
  2. Spread over filling and refrigerate
