Cheese Biscuits

ingredients

Biscuits
flour
salt
baking powder
butter
milk
shredded cheddar cheese

Glaze
melted butter
garlic clove, crushed

 

instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 450°F (225°C)
  2. Melt 1/4 cup butter
  3. Crush garlic, add to butter. Set aside.
  4. Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl
  5. Cut in butter with fork or pastry blender
  6. Hollow out the centre of the flour mixture
  7. Pour in milk and shredded cheese
  8. Stir 10-12 times – just until barely mixed
  9. Place on ungreased cookie sheet in heaping tablespoonfuls
  10. Brush with glaze
  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes, then cool
