Hearty Ribs with Rigatoni

Cook Time: 4 hours


vegetable oil
pork ribs
garlic, finely chopped
cayenne pepper
chopped tomatoes & juice
tomato paste
dry red wine
whipping cream
rigatoni, cooled & drained
grated parmesan



  1. Brown ribs in oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Drain all but 1 tbsp fat. Place ribs in slow cooker
  2. Add onions and saute. Add garlic and cloves, cook 1 minute
  3. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, wine. Boil 5 minutes, or until liquid is reduced by 1/3
  4. Pour into slow cooker and stir well. Cook on low for 8 hours, or high for 4 hours
  5. Discard cloves. Add cream to sauce
  6. Place pasta in deep platter. Spoon ribs and sauce over
  7. Garnish with parsley, serve with parmesan
