butter
flour
salt
pepper
milk
cheddar cheese, grated

 

instructions

  1. Over medium heat, melt butter. Remove from heat
  2. Stir in flour & seasonings. Gradually add milk
  3. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick and smooth
  4. Cook for 5 more minutes. Add cheese and stir until melted
