  1. Mix dry ingredients together
  2. Combine wet ingredients, and add to salt mixture
  3. Allow to cool slightly
  4. Store the dough in a sealed container to keep it from becoming dry. If it becomes too dry, simply knead in a dribble of water

I used to love making play dough with my mom. She'd pull out the old sauce pan and a ton of cream of tartar, and in an hour we'd have fresh leaf-green modeling goo. It lasts for about a year before getting too sticky, and is a great way to occupy kids.
