Easy Pot Roast with Rich Tomato Gravy

Cook Time: 6 hours


Beef Pot Roast
onions, thinly sliced
carrots, in 1cm cubes
garlic, minced
dry mustard
tomato soup
beef broth
worcestershire sauce
brown sugar
balsamic or red wine vinegar



  1. Brown all sides of roast in oil in skillet. Add roast to crock pot
  2. Add onions, carrots, celery to fry pan. Cook until softened
  3. Add garlic, thyme, mustard, salt, pepper to fry pan. Cook 1 minute
  4. Sprinkle with flour. Stir. Add soup broth & worcestershire sauce. Cook until thickened
  5. Pour sauce over roast. Cook on low 10-12 hours or high 5-6 hours. Put roast on plate
  6. Add brown sugar & vinegar to pan juices. Pour sauce over roast or serve in sauce boat
