Cranberry Sauce

Makes: 2.5 cups
Ready In: 15 minutes
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes


white sugar
orange juice
fresh cranberries



  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, dissolve the sugar in the orange juice
  2. Stir in the cranberries, and cook until they start to pop (about 10 minutes)
  3. Remove from heat, and transfer to a bowl
  4. Cranberry sauce will thicken as it cools

My sister made this for thanksgiving, and it was fresh and tasty. I definitely prefer it over canned cranberry sauce, and it isn't much work to make.
