- Microwave milk for 1 minute
- Add sugar, salt, and butter. Microwave until melted. Add water
- Beat egg, add to mixture and mix well. Add to bottom of bread maker
- Add flour. Make a well in the middle of the flour, and add yeast
- Start bread maker on dough mode
- Grease pans with lard (the best nonstick option)
- When dough is done, form into 2 loaves, and place in pans
- Cover with towel & let rise until sides of loaves are even with the top of the pan
- Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C)
- Bake for 30 minutes, or until well-browned and toothpick inserted comes out clean
