Steamed Asparagus

ingredients asparagus spears
butter
salt


instructions
  1. Place water in bottom half of steamer pan. Add sald and butter, bring to a boil
  2. Trim the dry ends off of the asparagus. If the spears are thick, peel them lightly with a vegetable peeler
  3. Place asparagus in top half of steamer pan
  4. Steam for 5 to 10 minutes, or until asparagus is tender
  5. Place on serving tray. Top with dabs of butter, sprinkle with nutmeg
