Swedish Meatballs

fine bread crumbs
water
salt
pepper
ground beef
egg
butter

Sauce
butter
flour
beef boullion
whipping cream
instructions
  1. Mix breadcrumbs, water, salt and pepper. Set aside for 10 minutes
  2. Mix in ground beef and egg until just mixed
  3. Roll meatballs to 1" size and brown on all sides in butter
  4. Set meatballs aside, keep warm
  5. In the same pan, melt the butter. Add flour and stir for 1 minute
  6. Remove from heat. Add boullion and stir until smooth
  7. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly
  8. Add cream and boil 1 more minute, stirring constantly
  9. Taste the sauce. Need some zip? Add salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste
  10. Place meatballs in sauce to serve, or serve sauce on the side
