German Potato Noodles

leftover mashed potatoes
1
egg, beaten
3/4 cup
flour
1 tsp
salt
1-2 cups
oil or butter
Mix all ingredients to form dough
Roll on a floured surface
Cut int 1/4" x 1" strips with a bread knife
Heat oil or butter in fry pan: should be 1/2" deep
Fry noodles. Place on paper towel when they're done
Eat with ketchup or dipping sauce
