1 3/4 cup
flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
baking powder
5 Tbsp
butter
1 cup
milk
1 cup
shredded cheddar cheese
Glaze
1/4 cup
melted butter
1
garlic clove, crushed
Preheat the oven to 450°F (225°C)
Melt 1/4 cup butter
Crush garlic, add to butter. Set aside.
Mix dry ingredients in medium bowl
Cut in butter with fork or pastry blender
Hollow out the centre of the flour mixture
Pour in milk and shredded cheese
Stir 10-12 times - just until barely mixed
Place on ungreased cookie sheet in heaping tablespoonfuls
Brush with glaze
Bake for 12-15 minutes, then cool
